images/stories/super-bowl-2013-news.jpgSuper Bowl odds for 2013 have been listed at all the Vegas sportsbooks favoring San Francisco in the championship game to be held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3rd at 6:30pm EST on CBS.
After holding on to defeat the Atlanta Falcons for the NFC championship last weekend, San Francisco has opened as 4-point betting favorites at the Wynn and Caesars. That being said, the Baltimore Ravens have pulled off three straight upsets against the spread and are only receiving +3.5 at the MGM Mirage and Stations. Super Bowl odds for 2013 on the over/under total between the 49ers vs Ravens are consistent across the board at 48. Baltimore doesn't mind being underdogs yet again having gone 3-1 SU in the last four meetings against San Francisco including a 16-6 victory on Nov 24th 2011. The Ravens will look to win their fourth straight game and first championship since the 2000-2001 season after upsetting the New England Patriots 28-13 last week as 8-point underdogs.
All that being said, the San Francisco 49ers are favored in Vegas since embarrassing the Green Bay Packers and holding off the Atlanta Falcons for the NFC title. San Fran easily handled the Packers in a 45-31 victory before going and defeating the Falcons 28-24 as 3.5-point favorites. Super Bowl odds for 2013 have listed San Francisco as a deserving betting favorite having gone 5-1 SU in their last six games with a post-season scoring average of 36.5-points per game. That being said, gamblers should note the squad has also gone just 6-4 when playing on turf with a 1-4 SU and dismal 2-4 against the spread mark in their most recent match-ups against Baltimore.
