With only two losses on the season, the Cornhuskers might not be in the hunt for a national title but a Big Ten Championship should be a sufficient consolation prize for head coach Bo Pelini's squad. The #12 Nebraska Cornhusker (10-2) will meet the Wisconsin Badgers (7-5) on Saturday night at 8:15pm EST live on FOX. Nebraska vs Wisconsin odds favor the Cornhuskers by 3-points against Wisconsin with an over/under total of 49.

College football betting on the moneyline also favors the Cornhuskers to win the Big Ten title laying -160 while a win for Wisconsin would payout +140 on a $100 wager. The Badgers enter week 14 as field goal underdogs having gone 4-4 in the conference this season, a mediocre 5-7 ATS and a disappointing 2-5 ATS when playing at home. Wisconsin just couldn't seem to get any consistency going 3-2 to start the season and proceeded to go 4-3 since but still somehow find themselves playing for a conference championship. The Badgers are coming off three overtime losses in their last four games including two straight at Ohio State and at Penn State last week. Wisconsin lost 21-24 in overtime and failed to cover the spread as 1-point underdogs on the road. With both the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions both ineligible due to NCAA sanctions and much to the dismay of Big Ten fans, head coach Bret Bielema's squad will have the chance to win the conference title and go on to play the winner of UCLA vs Stanford in the Rose Bowl.

The Badgers held a 14-7 lead heading into halftime against the Nittany Lions last week but allowed 14-second half points to send the game into overtime, which was eventually lost by a 37-yard field-goal. QB Curt Phillips threw 12/25 for 191-yards with 2-touchdowns and 1-interception in the loss while RB Montee Ball rushed for 111-yards and recorded his 79th career TD and the receiving tandem of Melvin Gordon and Derek Watt combined to go 102-yards with one score. Although many handicappers aren't giving the Badgers a shot at winning on Saturday, the squad has gone an impressive 2-0 ATS in the head to head series against the Cornhuskers. Nebraska vs Wisconsin odds and trends have the Badgers as college football betting underdogs for the game at Lucas Oil Stadium despite recently going 17-8 SU overall and 22-3 SU when playing at home. The Cornhuskers had two early losses to UCLA and then #12 Ohio State but have since won six games in a row to earn their spot in the Big Ten championship.

Nebraska went an impressive 7-1 in the conference and are coming off a 13-7 road win at Iowa but failed to cover the spread as two touchdown favorites to go 6-5-1 ATS on the year. The Cornhuskers had a welcomed addition on the field against the Hawkeyes as RB Rex Birkhead made his return from  a sprained knee back in October to rush for 69-yards and the go-ahead touchdown in the win. With wind blustering at Kinnick Stadium, QB Taylor Martinez threw 8/14 for 63-yards while the defense caused two turnovers to secure the win. The Cornhuskers should have plenty of confidence heading into Saturday's game FOX having already defeated the Badgers 30-27 on September 29th. That being said, Nebraska vs Wisconsin odds for the head to head series favor the Cornhuskers since recently going 5-0 SU and 15-7 when playing on the road but gamblers should note the squad has also gone a worrisome 1-6-1 ATS when playing on the road. Perhaps the smartest wager is taking the total as the OVER has paid out in the past two meeting between the teams.
