The 2012 AFC conference championship will be decided on Sunday at 3:00pm EST when the Baltimore Ravens take a trip up to Foxboro, Massachusetts to take on the New England Patriots in a game that can be seen live from Gillette Stadium on CBS. Following the game, the New York Giants will be at Candlestick Park playing for the NFC conference title against the San Francisco 49ers at 6:30pm EST on FOX. Both home teams are favored in to win in NFL predictions with Ravens vs Patriots odds holding New England as touchdown favorites (-7) and 3/1 (-300) on the money line. Baltimore are underdogs on the point spread receiving +7 points while also returning +250 for the road upset. That means for every $100 wagered on the Ravens to win straight up, you would receive the initial $100 plus an additional $250.

Conversely, you would need to risk -$300 on New England to win with no points involved to receive the initial $300 back plus an additional $100. The over/under total for Sunday's AFC title game on CBS has been listed at 50. In NFL predictions for the NFC championship game, the 49ers are 2-point favorites as they take on the Giants with an over/under total of 42. Heading into the AFC championship as 7-point home favorites, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has orchestrated another impressive year finishing the regular season 13-3 overall, 5-1 in the AFC conference and 7-1 when playing at home. New England then continued to dominate in the playoffs as the No. 1 seed when they defeated the Denver Broncos 45-10 at Gillette Stadium in the divisional round. Ravens vs Patriots odds and head to head trends since the 2001 season have New England 4-1 straight up against Baltimore, 2-1 against the spread and 2-0 ATS when playing in Foxboro.

The Baltimore Ravens entered the playoffs as the #3 seed with a 12-4 overall record going 6-0 vs the AFC North and 9-3 against conference opponents. Baltimore then went on to win the divisional round against the Houston Texans holding on for a 20-13 win earning their spot in Sunday's title game. Head coach John Harbaugh has the Ravens playing live a championship team once again being one win away from playing in the Super Bowl; something the team hasn't done since the 2000 season. NFL predictions in Vegas have the Ravens nearly 5/1 underdogs (+485) to win their next two games and hoist the Lombardi trophy. That being said, defense wins championships and Baltimore's line and secondary finished the regular season ranked 4th in the league for holding opponents to only 196.3-yards per game and 2nd overall allowing only 92.6-yards through the air.
